When Vogue Called, We Opened the Door Wider
Some moments arrive as confirmation.
When we received the call to be featured in Vogue Magazine, we knew immediately that it was bigger than us. It was bigger than one family, one brand, one photograph, or one story. It was a moment that carried the weight of community, legacy, and representation.
For us, Western culture has never been a costume or a trend. It is who we are. It is how we were raised, how we gather, how we honor family, and how we carry forward the stories of those who came before us. It lives in the arena dirt, in the sound of boots walking across gravel, in the music, in the fashion, in the prayer before the ride, and in the families who continue to build this culture with their hands, their faith, and their presence.
So when Vogue called, we knew we could not step into that moment alone.
We wanted to open the door wider.
We wanted our community to be seen, not as a backdrop, but as the foundation. The cowboys, cowgirls, families, creatives, brands, and supporters who have shaped us deserved to be part of the story. This was an opportunity to show the world that the Western experience is not one-dimensional. It is Black. It is Native. It is Southern. It is generational. It is stylish, sacred, resilient, and deeply rooted.
This feature gave us the chance to honor a truth we have always known: our stories belong in every room.
They belong in the rodeo arena. They belong on the ranch. They belong in fashion. They belong in media. They belong in the pages of Vogue.
A special thank you to Anthony J. Bruno, who opened up his family’s legendary Bruno’s Triangle Seven Rodeo Arena and allowed us to bring this vision to life on ground built by legacy, family, and community. That space carried the spirit of the story. It reminded us that representation is not only about being seen it is about being seen in truth, in place, and in honor.
Being featured by Vogue is something we will always be grateful for. But what makes this moment powerful is that we were able to bring our people with us.
To Vogue, thank you for the opportunity.
To Tyler Mitchell, Carlos Nazario, and the entire Condé Nast team, it was an honor to work with you and to be part of a story that felt intentional, beautiful, and necessary.
To our Wrangler, Resistol, and Justin Boots family and friends, thank you for continuing to support the vision.
And to everyone who has stood with us, built with us, prayed with us, and reminded the world that our culture has always been here. This moment belongs to you too.
We are proud to carry the name, the work, and the legacy forward.
